What we cover
Practical local news that residents can act on: municipal council decisions and meeting previews, housing and development applications, property tax and budgets, transit and road changes, schools, public-safety alerts and community events. Coverage is organised by section and by city, for example Richmond Hill, Markham and Vaughan.
How we work
Every article is original reporting or an original summary written from primary sources such as council agendas, official notices and public data. Each story links its sources, includes a "What it means for residents" section, and is reviewed by an editor before publication. Read our editorial policy, including how we use AI tools, and our corrections policy.
