The Children's Treatment Network (CTN) helps children and youth with disabilities and developmental needs, and their families, get the assessments, services and support they need at home, in the community and at school, according to the York Region District School Board (YRDSB).

What CTN offers

CTN works with a range of partner organizations to deliver a full set of services, including:

  • Intake and service navigation, to help families find the right help and understand their options
  • Rehabilitation services
  • Specialized clinics
  • Coordinated service planning, so the different people supporting a child work from one plan
  • Assessment, diagnosis and autism services

Who it serves

CTN mainly serves families in York Region and Simcoe County. It also provides school-based rehabilitation services in central and west Toronto.

The network has 10 physical sites where families can access services, borrow equipment and attend events. Its services are funded by Ontario's Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.

The Richmond Hill site

One of CTN's main locations is the Richmond Hill Multi-Service Centre at 13175 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4E 0G6. The centre acts as a central point where families can reach the network's supports and services.

How to get in touch

Families who want to learn more can:

  • Call CTN toll-free at 1-866-377-0286
  • Email info@ctnsy.ca
  • Visit www.ctnsy.ca, which also has a contact and feedback form for questions and suggestions

Why it matters for local families

For parents in Richmond Hill and across York Region, CTN can be a single starting point instead of a search across many separate agencies. Families who are unsure whether their child qualifies, or which service fits, can start with intake and service navigation and be guided from there. Because the services are publicly funded, families can ask CTN directly what applies to their child before booking anything privately.
